Dry Skin

Does your pup have hot spots, itchy or dry skin?! If so, we have the answer: good 'ole coconut oil. Apparently, there's something about the high levels of healthy saturated fat that does our pup's coat good.

What kind of coconut oil should I use?

Definitely DO NOT use the kind that comes in an aerosol can. That is not the one. Use the coconut oil that comes in a glass container and has only one ingredient: coconut oil.

How do I put it on my dog?

Use a tablespoon's worth, put it in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together until it fully dissolves and becomes liquid. Then, gently rub it onto your pup's fur one section at a time until you've fully massaged it all onto the problem areas.

Have you tried this before?

Absolutely! And it worked brilliantly, Mr. Harrison's coat came out softer, fluffier and shinier!

As with anything new, check with your vet first in case your pup has any kind of special skin conditions that you might not know about. (Lala Alert: Safety First, friends!)
